, by some said to be a brother of the preceding, was born in the latter part of the seventeenth century at Juterbach, and educated at Wittemberg. In 1711 he was appointed rector of the college of Luccau, where he died in 1721. His principal works are on matters of biography and antiquities; particularly “Germania | sacra et literaria,” 1717, 8vo; “De Hcnrico Guelfo Leone commentarius,1715, 4to; “Vita Joannis Tezeli;” “Memoria Joannis Lucani,” &.c. 1
