, or Sassi historian, was born at Milan in 1673. He for some time taught the belles lettres in his native city, and afterwards was employed as a missionary. In 1703 he was admitted a doctor of the Ambrosian college at Milan, and eight years afterwards was appointed director of that college, and keeper fits fine library. He died about 1756.
