# PORIME

, *Porima,* in Geometry, a kind of easy
lemma, or theorem so easily demonstrated, that it is almost
self-evident: such, for example, as that a chord is
wholly within the circle.—Porime stands opposed to
Aporime, which denotes a proposition so difficult, as
to be almost impossible to be demonstrated, or effected.
Such as the quadrature of the circle, &c.
