Butt, Isaac (18131879)

Butt, Isaac, Irish patriot, distinguished for his scholarship at Dublin University; became editor of the Dublin University Magazine; entered Parliament, and at length took the lead of the “Home Rule” party, but could not control it, and retired (18131879).
