Eichthal, Gustave d', a French publicist, born at Nancy; an adherent of St. Simonianism; wrote “Les Evangiles”; Mrs. Carlyle describes him as “a gentle soul, trustful, and earnest-looking, ready to do and suffer all for his faith” (18041886).
