Jones, Ebenezer (18201860)

Jones, Ebenezer, poet, born in Islington; author of “Studies in Sensation and Event,” fraught with genuine poetic feeling; published a pamphlet on “Land Monopoly,” in which he advocated the nationalisation of land, apparently as a disciple of Carlyle (18201860).
