Zealand

Zealand, a province of the Netherlands, formed chiefly of islands, of which Walcheren (q.v.) is one, constituting a delta as if formed by the Maas and Scheldt; great part of it is reclaimed from the sea.

Population (circa 1900) given as 213,000.
