I (Liam Quin) have made this online edition from another badly-tagged text. There are still many transcription errors too. I do not have a copy of the printed book right now, unfortunately. If you would like to send me one, I will photograph the pages and put them online!

Remember also that this text was written in (or before) 1795. It is online because it is still significant in the study of the history of mathematics and science, and also because there are references to it from Chalmer’s Biographical Dictionary.

You are welcome to link to these pages, but I would advise against copying the text onto places like Wikipedia: firstly, it's probably biased, and secondly, there are certainly many factual errors.
