CEPHEUS
, a constellation of the northern hemisphere, being one of the 48 old asterisms. The Greeks fable that Cepheus was a king of Ethiopia, and the father of Andromeda, the princess who was delivered up to be devoured by a sea monster, from which she was rescued by Perseus.
