one of the best Greek scholars of his time. We have by
him some notes on Harpocration, Paris, 1614, 4to. 2.
Some remarks on a treatise on mountains and rivers, attributed to Plutarch. 3. And some “Opuscula,
” which
display him in the light of a judicious critic.
