He died in 1751, leaving several learned works, of which the principal are, “Systema Causarum Efficientium;” “Elementa Philosophic Rationalis, Methodo Mathematico demonstrata;” “Theoremata de Parabolis infinitis” and “A Defence of the Christian Religion,” which is said to be his ablest performance.
