, a noted preacher of his time in the University, was born in Denbighshire, applyed his eager mind to Academical studies in Ch. Ch. an. 1598. aged 16. took the degrees in Arts, that of Master being compleated 1607. and afterwards published,
Verba dierum: Or the days report of Gods glory, in four Sermons or Lectures upon one text in the University of Oxon.Clar. 1615. on Psal. 19. 2. Oxon. 1615. qu. Another of both his names I find to have been born at Westmeane in Hampshire, admitted fellow of New coll. 1595. and that he took the degree of M. of A. 1602. But this person leaving his fellowship in 1604. and so consequently the University, he is not to be taken for the same, who published the four Sermons before mention’d.
