sometimes Canon of Ch Church, afterwards Dean of Rochester, was consecrated Bishop of Chichester, an. 1641. and died in the beginning of Octob. in sixteen hundred sixty and nine,1669. under which year you may see more of him among the Writers p. 308. In the said See of Chichester succeeded Dr. Pet. Gunning as I have elsewhere told you.
