Church, was first Bishop of Worcester (where he was received and inthronized with very great solemnity on the 12. of Sept. 1661) and afterwards of Winchester on the death of Dr. Duppa;1684. who dying in the latter end of Octob. in sixteen hundred eighty and four (under which year you may see more of him among the writers p. 581.) was succeeded in Winchester by Dr. Pet. Mews B. of Bathe and Wells.
