Aristoxenus of Tarentum

Aristoxenus of Tarentum (Aristox`enus of Tarentum) , a Greek philosopher, author of the “Elements of Harmony,” the only one of his many works extant, and one of the oldest writers on music; contemporary of Aristotle.
