Möhler, Johann Adam, a Roman Catholic theologian, born at Würtemberg, author of “Symbolik,” a work which discusses the differences between the doctrines of Catholics and Protestants, as evidenced in their respective symbolical books, a work which created no small stir in the theological world (17961838).
