Hackum (Captain)

A thick-headed bully of Alsaʹtia, impudent but cowardly. He was once a sergeant in Flanders, but ran from his colours, and took refuge in Alsaʹtia, where he was dubbed captain. (Shadwell: Squire of Alsatia.)
