Rudolʹphine Tables (The)

Tabulæ Rudolphīnæ, 1627. Astronomical calculations begun by Tycho Brahé, and continued by Kepler, under the immediate patronage of Kaiser Rudolph II., after whom Kepler named the work.

Rudolph gave Tycho Brahé an annuity of £1,500 sterling. George III. gave Herschel an annuity of £200.
