Contractors

,—a set of men who are known to live in luxury on the plunder of the ignorant, the innocent, and the helpless; upon that part of the community which stands most in need of and best deserves the care and protection of the legislature. In all Ministerial contracts, it is never a question of making a profitable bargain for the public; the only object is to enrich the contractor, who is always a creature of the Minister.
