Baglivi, Giorgio (16671706)

Baglivi, Giorgio (Bagli`vi, Giorgio) , an illustrious Italian physician, wrote “De Fibra Motrice” in defence of the “solidist” theory, as it is called, which traced all diseases to alterations in the solid parts of the body (16671706).
