Maltebrun, Conrad (17751826)

Maltebrun, Conrad, geographer, born in Denmark; studied in Copenhagen, but banished for his revolutionary sympathies; settled in Paris; was the author of several geographical works, his “Geographic Universelle” the chief (17751826).
