Seven Yearsʹ War (The)

.

The third period of the War of the “Austrian Succession,” between Maria Theresa of Austria and Friedrich II. of Prussia. It began 1756, and terminated in 1763. At the close, Silesia was handed over to Prussia.

Seven Yearsʹ War between Sweden and Denmark (1563–1570). Erik XIV. of Sweden was poisoned, and his successor put an end to the war.
