, an artist, born at Antwerp in 16S4, painted birds and flowers with some success, and in 1726, he published twelve plates of birds and fowls which he had designed and etched himself. He had been settled in England many years, when he retired in 1735 to Tooting, to design for callico-printers. He died at Richmond, May 16, 1749. 2
