Lightfoot, Joseph Barber (18281889)

Lightfoot, Joseph Barber, bishop of Durham, born at Liverpool; was a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, was eminent among English scholars as a New Testament exegete, became bishop of Durham in 1879; died at Bournemouth (18281889).
