Mackay, Charles (18141889)

Mackay, Charles, journalist, novelist, and critic; wrote an autobiography entitled, “Forty Years' Recollections of Life, Literature, and Public Affairs”; was the father of Eric Mackay, author of “Love-Letters of a Violinist” (18141889).
